Today, October 13th, is National Train Your Brain Day! Keeping your brain active and exercising it regularly is very important for keeping your mind in good health! In actively taking care of our brains, we are helping to push off any natural decrease in brain function as we get older. Some ways that you can help train your brain are: doing crossword puzzles, learning a new word every day, getting lots of sleep, and more! Our brains have the ability to do so many things for us, so it is important that we remember to take good care of our minds and bodies. Everyone, regardless of their age, should be participating in “train-your-brain” activities as often as they can.
Today, remind a family member or friend to participate in some brain-training activities!
