Our Mission

ElderNet provides a safety net for older and disabled adults to help them remain in their homes with dignity and strengthens food and financial security for all community members in need of support.

Our Vision

Older and disabled adults will feel cared for, respected, and connected to our community. Those facing food and financial insecurity will find comfort and resources to meet their basic needs. As a result, no one will feel isolated. ElderNet will continue to be a highly regarded service provider, a place for meaningful volunteer service, and a source of dignity and hope.

Food for Thought

Food for Thought is our principal fundraising event, and canceling it for the second year in a row has had a very significant impact on our overall budget. We rely on the income from the event to continue the essential services provided throughout our community, all of which are free and vital in relieving the effects of poverty, isolation and increasing the overall health and wellbeing of our neighbors.

We are asking those of you who are able to make a contribution of any size to help ElderNet make up this budgetary shortfall; a shortfall that jeopardizes our essential services that provide stability and support to thousands of community members every year. Now — more than ever — your help is needed. Let’s take this time of social distancing to ensure that all of our neighbors received the assistance needed. We thank you for your generosity in these uncertain times.
