If you are in need of food, please come to ElderNet's full-choice food pantry. We are open Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10am-11:45am and 2:00pm-3:45pm. We serve all of Lower Merion Township and Narberth, and offer meat, milk, bread, produce, toiletries, and non-perishable items.

ElderNet's Ada Mutch Community Resource Center (AMCRC) and Food Pantry provides free assistance to residents of Lower Merion and Narberth living with low incomes.
The AMCRC provides many valuable resources to residents of Lower Merion and Narberth. The Center has a full-choice food pantry where residents living with low incomes come to shop for fresh produce, milk, bread, frozen meat, and pre-packaged and canned food. There is a licensed social worker on site to assist with applying for benefits, services, and emergency financial assistance. The financial assistance has strict income guidelines, is available for those in need of utility, rental assistance, or other emergency items, and is generally capped at a few hundred dollars. As with all programs at ElderNet, applicants must be residents of Lower Merion or Narberth.
In connection with Bryn Mawr Hospital, the Center also houses the "Ask-A-Nurse" program where a licensed nurse is readily available to offer bi-weekly blood pressure screenings, provide health education, answer questions, and offer referrals regarding medical or mental health-related issues. Nurses also administer seasonal flu shots.
The hours for the AMCRC are Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:00 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. to 3:45 p.m. Proof of residency is needed each year, as your situation changes, or upon request as required to update our records. Additionally, if claiming dependents under the age of 18, updated copies of each child's report card are required.
The "Ask-A-Nurse" program is available Tuesday and Thursdays from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Hunger isn't seasonal, which is why ElderNet works year-round to feed those in our community who are in need. Food donations can be delivered to ElderNet Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. or to ElderNet's Ada Mutch Food Pantry on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Give the gift of food this year!
We are currently in need of canned meats, such as chicken, tuna, turkey, and SPAM; canned pastas (i.e. ravioli); peanut butter; and cereal. We are also in need of toiletries, such as incontinence aids, tissues, paper towels, shampoo/conditioner, and toothpaste.
Our food pantry accepts non-perishable, pre-packaged and canned food.
Donations can be dropped off at the food pantry on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. In addition to these hours, donations can be dropped off at ElderNet's main office Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

HOLD A FOOD DRIVE FOR THE ADA MUTCH FOOD PANTRY
ElderNet's Ada Mutch Food Pantry (AMCRC) is always in need of non-perishable food donations. Our supplies start to get low as the summer months approach, so we are in greatest need of food donations between May and October. Holding a food drive any time during the year is helpful as we can stock our shelves full to ensure our clients receive enough food throughout the year.
- Anyone can hold a food drive, whether it be a family, a school, a neighborhood, a business, or any other organization.
- Decide how long your food drive will last (week-long, month-long, etc.).
- Create a donation collection box in which people place their non-perishable donated food items.
- Advertise your food drive. Create flyers, post your food drive on social media, such as Facebook and Twitter, and be sure to tell all of your friends. Include details, such as how long your food drive will last, what times donations can be dropped off, the drop-off location, a list of items that the pantry needs, and a notice that the food drive benefits ElderNet's Ada Mutch Food Pantry.
- As you receive donations, it is important to check expiration dates. While we check the dates of all food before it is distributed to the clients, your diligence allows us to focus our time and energy on serving our clients.
- Deliver your food donations to our food pantry or to ElderNet's main office.
