Celebrating Our Grandparents

Grandparents’ Day is Sunday, September 12th, and we want to celebrate them and all they have done for us! Take a moment to reflect on how your grandparents have made an impact on you at some point during your life. Our grandparents have worked hard to provide their children and grandchildren with good lives, happy memories, and smiles. Now, it is our time to return the favor to them. As our grandparents age, they need our help. At ElderNet, we strive to create a better quality of life for our local senior community. We provide our older neighbors with free, practical services to give them access to healthcare, food, and companionship. We are always looking for volunteers to help us and our neighbors in any way they can–whether that be driving a senior to their doctor appointment, helping out in our food pantry, or going on a lunch date with a senior. Check out our website to fill out a volunteer application if this interests you, and we always encourage donations to help our cause. This Sunday, do not forget to think of your grandparents and everything they have done for you and your family!

If you would like to share some of the wisdom that your grandparents have taught you, email us at Btrombetta@eldernetonline.org or DM us on Instagram @eldernet_lmn for a chance to be featured on our social posts! (Pictures are welcome, too!)
